Guest Post from my sister, K! K's Grove Haul

Hi everyone! I'm K and today I'm guest blogging for TypeAPetite and I'm SO excited to share all the great things I bought today at The Grove in Los Angeles! 


First, I found these great 3" Chino Shorts at J.Crew in Neon Pink: 

Bright colors are in right now and I can't wait to pair these shorts with a cute top! These will be perfect for the cruise I'm going on in 3 weeks.  

Next, I picked up the Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe in Tide Pool Blue/Pro Platinum-Mega Blue  

from Nordstrom. The light blue is VERY bright (clearly I'm in favor of this trend!) and the shoe is way more stable than I imagined! This is my first Nike running shoe... for the past six years I've been extremely loyal to the GEL-Kayano by Asics but I think I'll be happy with the switch. These shoes will be more for walking, strength training, and various FITiST classes (comment below with your email address if you want an invite to FITiST) than distance running, but hey.. maybe I'll be inspired! 

Finally, I had to make a return at Gap and I found the perfect summer shoe! It's the Gladiator Wedge Sandal in Black. 

I had a Gap Rewards credit for $40 so these shoes ended up costing me only about $40! They are so comfortable and versatile, I can't wait to wear them on the cruise at night! I saw a girl trying these on the store and knew immediately I had to get these sandals.
